Newcomers Keep Coming (NKC) is an Open Secular Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) Meeting focussed towards the newcomer / beginner and also caters for medium timers and long timers. We also cover many Big Book topics. We have open sharing and a meeting after the meeting. We also provide optional breakout rooms if you require something a little more private at the end of the meeting for male, female and non-binary.

For Safety, Security, and Safeguarding purposes, all meeting attendees will be muted until the Chairperson / Secretary, or Admin grants permission to participate. Additionally, to speak during the main meeting, your video / camera must be turned on, with your face fully visible. Please note that photos, pre-recorded videos, or avatars are not permitted in any meetings.

1. Join the meeting from the schedule below (use the Zoom meeting link / meeting ID and passcode shown on this page).
    
2. In the Zoom toolbar, click Show Captions (or CC).
    
3. Click the small arrow next to Show Captions to open Captions and translation settings.
    
4. Turn on Translation, then choose the language you want captions translated into.
    

Each person can choose their own caption language independently. 

• You’re welcome to listen only. Many people attend their first AA meeting quietly.
   
• You can join from anywhere. All you need is Zoom on your phone, tablet, or computer.
   
• Language support is there to help you follow along, but it’s normal if captions aren’t perfect. (Live translation can vary depending on audio quality, accents, and connection strength.)
   
• Stay connected after the meeting if you’d like—community is often where the help really starts.
   

• Use headphones if possible (it reduces background noise and improves clarity).
   
• Sit closer to your microphone if you plan to share.
   
• Keep your device updated (the newest Zoom app versions tend to handle captions more smoothly).
   
• If you don’t see “Show Captions” or “Interpretation,” look under More in the meeting controls.
