Daily Reflections work best when you do one small thing with them. Try this:
- Read it once through.
- Re-read the one line that stands out.
- Ask: “What is this asking me to practice today?”
- Choose one action you can do in the next 24 hours (make it small and realistic).
Examples: call someone in recovery, attend a meeting, write a quick inventory, pause before reacting, make one amends decision, or do a small act of service.
Daily Reflection “Takeaway” (1 minute)
In one sentence, finish this:
“Today, I will practice __________ instead of __________.”
Sharing / Journal Questions (If You’re Not Sure What It Means)
Pick one and answer honestly:
• What part of this reflection feels true for me today?
• Where am I stuck in self-will, fear, resentment, or control?
• What would ‘one day at a time’ look like in the next hour?
• What can I accept today that I’ve been fighting?
• Who can I reach out to before I pick up a drink?
• What’s one helpful thing I can do for someone else today?
